What postpartum recipes need to be
A recipe is only useful if it can be made in the kitchen of a mother whose energy is uneven, whose hands may be partly occupied, and whose attention is shared. The recipes in this module are chosen with that filter in mind. They are warm, replenishing, easy to scale, easy to reheat, and forgiving of substitutions when the pantry is thin.
The Restoration recipe collection covers four threads: nourishing breakfasts that can be prepared the day before, slow-cooked one-pot meals for lunch and dinner, mineral-dense broths and soups, and small additions that lift the food you already make.
Threads of the collection
- Breakfast that holds. Overnight oats with butter and salt and seeds. Soaked porridges. Eggs in batches. Smoothies built from warming ingredients rather than cold ones in the first months.
- One-pot meals that reheat well. Slow-cooked stews. Bone-broth based soups. Rice-and-protein bowls that scale up and freeze cleanly.
- Mineral-dense broths. Stock simmered with bones, vegetables, herbs. Sipped from a mug. Used as the base for nearly everything in the first months.
- Small lifts. Sea salt and good oils, fermented things in small amounts, seeds and nuts toasted at the start of a quieter day so they are there for the busier ones.
How the recipes are organized
Each recipe is a single page. The ingredient list is short. The method is broken into two or three steps. The notes name the substitutions that work, what reheats best, and what carries through to the next day. Nothing in the collection requires more than thirty minutes of active attention, and most require less than fifteen.
The recipes are built to be added to whatever you already eat. The collection grows as the program is taught, with mothers from each cohort contributing what worked in their kitchens.
A postpartum recipe is not the recipe that wins on Instagram. It is the recipe that gets made on a Tuesday when nothing went as hoped.
The full recipe library opens once you enroll. Module sub-pages for each recipe are added across program development.
