Some thoughtful words about love!

There has been so much going on in the world lately, that I am worried about the future of humanity on this planet. I am thinking of IS, Ebola, the Ukraine crisis, the election results in Sweden with the increasing xenophobia, Russian submarines and planes going missing, school murders in Seattle and the attack on the Prime Minister of Canada etc etc. This article was written at the end of 2014, but is still very relevant!

I firmly believe that we as human beings need to give ourselves, each other and Mother Earth more love in order to put an end to all the nastiness. It may sound strange and pathetic, but if we don't love ourselves and take care of ourselves, we can't function as reasonable fellow human beings or as the rational beings we think we are.

I often feel powerless when I read the news. I usually do a turnaround in my head and think that if I give my love to people around me, I contribute a counterbalance to all evil and if everyone does the same and thus helps to spread love, the effect should be that the world's population becomes more loving!! I think of boomerang. What I give I also get back!!

Think about how much you can influence your surroundings! Don't take out your frustration on someone innocent around you, but do share your love with as many people as you can. You may have already forgotten what you said to someone this morning, but the recipient will remember your words for much longer. You can make someone else's day, but you can also ruin it.
