▼The Breath That Connects Us
As we navigate life's changes, we often seek more than just intellectual understanding - we yearn for a sense of it in our bodies. Let's explore how meditation can help bridge the gap between thinking and feeling, and how a daily practice can ground and expand our awareness. In this article, we'll touch on the importance of breath, and I'll share my journey with meditation, as well as the creation of my Guided Meditation Library. We can start where we are, and allow ourselves to experience the shifts our bodies are asking for.

Throughout my work one thing keeps coming up. People don’t just want to understand change on an intellectual level, they want to experience it in their body. They want a change they can sense, something real that goes beyond just thinking about it.
I’ve been practicing meditation on and off since 1997, exploring its impact on the body and mind. Since 2022, I’ve made it a daily practice, meditating for at least one hour each day. It has helped me tremendously, grounding me, expanding my awareness, and deepening my connection to my body.
Again and again, I come back to the breath as the bridge between thinking and feeling, between holding on and letting go.
Creating the Guided Meditation Library has been a journey of growth, and the gift it allows me to share with the world now has exceeded all my expectations. I am so proud of it.
Gratitude for Support
I am deeply grateful to everyone who offered feedback along the way. This project could not have happened without my beautiful husband, David, managing all the tech, and without all of my past and recent clients, who brought me their unique challenges and requests. Being able to tune into their needs, write scripts, and create these meditations has been profoundly heartwarming. Every single person who has listened has felt a shift in their body.
Creating Space to Come Home
These meditations are not about emptying your mind or sitting perfectly still. They are about creating a quiet space where your body can begin to soften, your nervous system can settle, and where you can start to come home to yourself.
Explore the Library
The library currently features a few meditations:
- Introduction to Meditation (24 minutes): perfect if you’ve never meditated before
- Morning Intention (13 minutes): designed to help you set the tone for your day
For those on a different journey, there are also meditations for pregnancy and birth, designed with the same care and attention to help your body and mind feel supported.
Start Wherever You Are
Whether you are completely new to meditation or simply want a moment of calm in your day, this library is here to meet you wherever you are. Start at your own pace, listen with an open heart, and allow yourself to experience the shift your body is asking for.
This is just the beginning. There is more to come, and I cannot wait to continue sharing this journey with you.
