As we begin a new year, we're invited to reflect on what truly matters in our lives. In this heartfelt letter, Johanna shares her insights on the power of presence, and how showing up fully for ourselves and others can create a ripple effect of love, compassion, and growth. Join her on a journey of cultivating inner stability, self-awareness, and genuine connection.

As we transition from 2025 into 2026, I’ve been spending time reflecting on what truly matters and trying to put into words what I have known for years.
For me, what matters most is the ability to truly be with people, to notice them, meet them where they are, and support them as they move through change, learning, and growth.
Over the years, people have shared that they feel more at ease in my presence, feel genuinely seen and heard, and experience a sense of lightness simply by being close to me.
These reflections have shown me that our presence carries real weight. How we show up in this world, emotionally, mentally, and energetically, shapes others far more than we often realise. Our inner state, awareness, and actions ripple outward, and it is our responsibility, yes, our damn responsibility, to show up as the best version of ourselves.
Each of us holds a deep capacity for insight, compassion, courage, and self-respect. These qualities aren’t accidental; they can be trained, nurtured, and strengthened over time.
I am deeply sensitive, which allows me to perceive subtle shifts and dynamics that others might miss. I see this as a strength, but one that requires conscious care, grounding practices, and clear boundaries, not luxuries, but necessities. I’ve learned through experience that neglecting my own needs leads to giving too much and eventually depleting myself. Without balance and protection, even the most genuine care becomes unsustainable. Oh man, it took years to understand this!
We live in a world that often looks outward for answers instead of cultivating inner stability. When fulfillment is sought only externally, it never quite lands.
For me, the work begins within. That is what allows me to support others with depth, clarity, and integrity.
As I step into 2026, I take full responsibility to continue this journey, showing up fully, with presence, heart, and courage, for myself, for others, and for the work that truly matters.
Welcome to a new year with Life by Love. In 2026, I want to share more of the journey behind the scenes, invite you to step into this world with me, and look forward to all that the year has to give.
With love,
Johanna
