▼Nourishing My Way to Wellness: Day 18 of Healing My Leaky Gut
As I continue on my journey to heal my leaky gut, I'm finding comfort in familiar habits, like starting my day with a delicious smoothie - now made with cold tea instead of dairy, coconut, or soy products. This article explores my daily food choices as I focus on nourishing my body, from a rejuvenating exotic smoothie to a hearty meat stew cooked to perfection in my slow cooker. With a busy day ahead, my convenient and healthy meals keep me going, and I'm excited to share my simple yet tasty recipes with you, like my favorite mangoglass snack and satisfying vegetable soup with smoked turkey.

I know I'm getting bored and monotonous with my breakfasts, but for the past year I've been drinking smoothies every morning and it's hard to let go of the good habit. I feel like it's good for me and I think it's delicious! The difference now is that I don't use dairy, coconut or soy products in my smoothies. Cold tea works just fine as a substitute!
My hip hurt when I woke up, but it slowly got better during the day. It's been an active day, so the slow cooker was perfect. Took an hour for lunch and took the opportunity to prepare dinner then, so it was just a matter of setting the table when it was time to eat in the evening. Very convenient!
